Fernando Honorato, best known as the frontman of Swedish post-punk band Principe Valiente, continues to carve his own creative path with his solo project Fernando’s Eyes. His latest single, “More For You”, arrives shortly after the release of his debut solo album Center of Your World in June. The track carries the urgency of 90s grunge while staying rooted in the dark, atmospheric textures that define his artistry. The single is accompanied by two remixes of “Crystal,” a track from his recent album. Swedish electro artist Oplen, formerly of Agent Side Grinder, offers a driving reinterpretation, while Finnish multi-instrumentalist Jaakko Eino Kalevi reimagines the song with a dreamlike twist. Together, the remixes extend the emotional landscape of Honorato’s music, bridging post-punk intensity with electronic experimentation. They highlight his openness to collaboration and his desire to let his work live beyond its original form.
Honorato’s roots run deep in the alternative music scene. Since founding Principe Valiente in 2005, he has been the voice behind the band’s signature blend of post-punk, shoegaze, and dream pop. Albums like Choirs of Blessed Youth (2014) and Oceans (2017) established the group as a fixture of the darkwave and dream pop underground, while more recent releases such as Barricades (2022) and In This Light (2024) revealed a more introspective, cinematic approach. With each project, Honorato has proven his strength as both a songwriter and a mood sculptor.
With Fernando’s Eyes, he steps into a more intimate and experimental chapter. “More For You” is not just another single—it is a statement of intent, showcasing his versatility and commitment to pushing the boundaries of post-punk.
