DJ Thommek’s “A Little Bit” caught me off guard in a really good way. It’s not one of those tracks that tries too hard to grab you instantly, instead it slowly pulls you in. The first thing I noticed was how warm everything feels, especially the female vocal. It doesn’t feel overproduced or forced, just natural and emotional, like it belongs exactly where it is.
What I like most is the contrast in the track. There’s this calm, almost quiet mood running through it, but at the same time there’s a steady beat that keeps things moving. You can tell it’s inspired by something deeper, not just built for the dancefloor. It reminds me of those moments when you’re alone, thinking, but still feeling a sense of forward motion. That balance is hard to get right but here it works.
I also appreciate the fact that Thommek handles his own artwork. Knowing the cover is hand-drawn with pastel chalk makes the whole release feel more personal. It’s rare to see an artist put that kind of effort into both the sound and the visuals. For me, it adds another layer to the listening experience—you’re not just hearing the track, you’re kind of stepping into his creative world.

“A Little Bit” feels honest. It’s not trying to be the biggest or loudest EDM track out there, and that’s exactly why it stands out. It’s smooth, emotional, and easy to connect with. Definitely one I’d come back to, especially when I’m in the mood for something more thoughtful but still rhythmic.
