Seven Nation Army’s Power and Money Delivers a Dark, Cinematic Electro-Rock Experience

Seven Nation Army returns with Power and Money, an EP that feels both musically ambitious and emotionally relevant in today’s world. Blending alternative rock with dark electronic textures and cinematic production, the Polish project delivers a release driven by atmosphere, intensity, and reflection. Founded in Cracow by multi-instrumentalist and producer Jarek Balsamski, the band has spent years evolving beyond traditional rock foundations into a modern electro-rock act with a distinctive artistic identity. This latest EP represents another confident step forward in that evolution.

What makes Power and Money particularly interesting is its creative approach to reinterpretation. Instead of presenting unrelated tracks, Seven Nation Army explores one central theme through three different sonic perspectives. “Electro Time” pushes the song into futuristic territory with pulsing synths, electronic rhythms, and a sleek modern edge. “80s Synths” embraces retro influences, layering nostalgic keyboards and cinematic mood in a way that feels both haunting and immersive. The final version, “Raw Guitars,” strips things back to a heavier and more direct rock sound, allowing the emotional core of the composition to stand front and center.

The production throughout the EP is polished without losing emotional weight. Jarek Balsamski’s songwriting combines aggressive guitar work with atmospheric electronic arrangements that create a sound equally suited for headphones or large festival stages. Vocalist Olga Ostrowska plays a major role in shaping the emotional tone of the project, bringing expressive melodies and cinematic depth that elevate each version of the track. Together, the duo creates a balance between mechanical intensity and human emotion.

Fans of Muse, Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode, and Linkin Park’s electronic era will find plenty to appreciate here. Power and Money is more than a stylistic experiment, it is a focused artistic statement filled with mood, energy, and thoughtful themes about influence, ambition, and modern society.
