Court filings reveal that after the fatal shooting of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk, the accused, Tyler Robinson, messaged his roommate about what might have driven the attack. Prosecutors said the roommate whose name was not disclosed—told investigators that Robinson had mentioned leaving a written admission hidden beneath his keyboard following the incident at Utah Valley University in Orem last Wednesday. Officials further noted that the roommate, a transgender man in the process of transitioning to female, was romantically involved with Robinson. Investigators were also given a complete set of text exchanges between Robinson and the roommate from the day the shooting occurred.
