I Listened to Sabrina Nejmah’s new song, “Don’t You Worry”, and I really liked it. She’s only 17, but her voice feels calm and sincere, and the song itself is really easy to connect with. It doesn’t feel overproduced or forced, which is nice, it just feels like her.
The song is about trusting someone and feeling confident in a relationship even when things are uncertain. I thought it was really interesting that she set it on a spaceship. At first, it seemed a little weird, but it actually works, it makes sense if you think about it as a metaphor for life being unpredictable. I liked that little creative touch.
The music is soft and simple, which really suits her voice. She sings gently, but it’s clear she means what she’s saying. I noticed little things each time I listened, like how she emphasizes certain words or how the melody moves with the lyrics. It’s not flashy, but it’s the kind of song you can listen to again and again.

Sabrina lives in Hamburg and has a Moroccan-German background. She writes her own songs with her dad, and you can tell she puts a lot of care into them. “Don’t You Worry” shows that she’s already developing her own style, and I think she has a lot of potential. I’m curious to see what she does next.
