Innocent Darkness adopts in ‘Dominion of the Stars’ a direct and hardware-based method of creating electronic music, the project being developed using Vital VST, Circuit TRACKS and Yamaha Seqtrak Black. The EP is entirely the work of the artist and shows off a hands-on approach in which experimentation plays a central role. The fact that no artificial intelligence is used serves to underline the personal contribution made to the piece, since all the elements have been derived from the artist’s own creative process.
The work is based on a number of darker electronic acts such as Monomorte, Noire Antidote, Sidewalks and Skeletons, White Ring, and Salem.
