Canadian rock trio The Sun Harmonic has dropped their latest single Glory Days, the second track from their forthcoming 7th studio album, set for release in 2025. A driving, anthemic rock and roll song, Glory Days dives into the struggles and triumphs of life, asking whether our best days are behind us or unfolding right now. Written by frontman Kaleb Hikele in a furniture delivery van, the track has grown into a powerful anthem that resonates especially strongly after being recorded during the global pandemic.
The single captures the raw energy of the band’s punk and hard rock influences, recorded live-off-the-floor with guitarist and vocalist Hikele, bassist Dave Skrtich, and drummer Ian McLennan. Mixed by acclaimed Canadian rock producer Brian Moncarz, the song bursts with immediacy and authenticity, offering listeners a visceral reminder of rock and roll’s timeless appeal. Music publication The Wire Megazine praised the release as “a live-off-the-floor revelation, drenched in pure Canadian rock authenticity… anthemic, immediate, and impossible not to feel.”

Glory Days follows the success of the band’s first single Homesick, a sing-along anthem that marked the beginning of their latest musical chapter. Together, the two singles showcase the band’s evolution from its origins as Hikele’s 2009 solo project into a full-fledged power trio, embracing a faster, louder, and more unfiltered sound. With pounding rhythms, raw riffs, and heartfelt lyrics, the track serves as both a nostalgic reflection and a bold declaration of living in the moment.
Winners of the 2024 FCLMA award for Ontario Independent Recording Artist, The Sun Harmonic continues to solidify their reputation as one of Canada’s most authentic rock acts. As they prepare to unveil their 7th studio album in 2025, Glory Days stands as a defining statement—proof that the band’s best days are still very much happening right now.
